Letter from the President

Welcome to the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) - DFW Chapter! We are a non-profit professional organization designed to promote women doing business in international trade by providing networking and educational opportunities. Although founded on a desire to promote women within the industry, our organization is comprised of both professional men and women who come from a variety of backgrounds and are exceptionally talented in their respective fields.

Membership in OWIT offers value in the form of educational workshops and forums, leadership opportunities, and networking. We urge you to take advantage of them!

Current members know the value of the contacts, networking opportunities and the friendships that naturally develop between the members. For those who have been members in the past, we encourage you to reconnect with OWIT. Our organization has evolved into a dynamic, productive source of trade-related information in addition to the social interaction that is invaluable in our industry. And if you have yet to become a member of OWIT, make that #1 on your New Year's resolution list!

For more information about OWIT and how to become a member, or if you have question regarding any of our activities and opportunities, please contact our Director of Membership, Lisa Morris at lm1908@yahoo.com.

Sincerely,
