70% of goods being moved between the two countries travel via truck. Tension and violence has steadily increased along the border yet the need for goods to continue to cross is high. Do you really understand the inherent risks involved? Kyle Burns will discuss the roots, recent developments and the future of the DOT Cross Border Trucking Demonstration Project. Prior to joining Free Trade Alliance in April 2007, Kyle began his career at Columbia Industries, Inc., an international sporting goods manufacturer. During his four-teen year career with Columbia Kyle moved from an international customer service representative to the Vice President of International Sales. Kyle has extensive experience working and traveling throughout Asia and Europe. Most recently Kyle implemented a distribution center in Rotterdam, The Nether-lands to distribute Columbia’s family of brands throughout Europe, with strategic focus on the fast growing Eastern European markets.
